Back from a little spring break with the mighty Pelican! Their newly released Flickering Resonance is a brilliant album and gave me the excuse I needed to finally get Trevor of the band on the show. We talk about a ton of things, from water park hotels, to flame meditation, basking in the warmth of creative energy and, yes, the first 11 REO Speedwagon albums (but only the first 11). Marathon show! Had an actual ton of fun talking with the Idle Heirs guys on what has ended up being the longest EoS show yet. No BS this is instantly one of the favorite shows I've done. Not only is the band, Doomsday, ALL the badass but Charlie of the band is an immense amount of fun. I think the conversation is an excellent combination of smart and/or meaningful plus the patented EOS fun and goofiness, including (of course) an elongated sausage conversation.
